mucus plug or sign of labor?

I had sex last night with my hubby and as I wiped I notice some strands of blood threw the discharge. Not getting the blood anymore but been having a lot of discharge/ mucus like since. Also all last night I had a lot of pains and tummy just felt tight constantly.

This Is my second pregnancy. My first I was induced so everything hit me at once I know the feeling of need to go and nothing happening. Although I have been going to the toilet for number 2 upto 4 times a day. My tummy is so tight it feels like it's going to bust. I get contractions on and off that feel like period cramps around my back and lower abdomen and I get this sharp stabbing pain in my cervix that comes and goes. Baby is engaged.

You will know when your going into labor. My first pregnancy I kept thinking that I was but there is a whole new level of pain that comes then just the tightening of your stomach. I also felt like I was going to go #2 but couldn't go.  But if your feeling the Braxton hicks and they are making you wonder too much I would go to the dr to just check things out
