Hey girls, so I scheduled my gender ultrasound at 16 weeks, anyone else scheduled theirs at 16 or sooner, I'm wondering how accurate it can be at 16 weeks

I had a gender scan at 16 weeks with my daughter and it was correct. I asked how sure the ultrasound tec was and she said 99%.

I hear a lot of people say it is pretty accurate I am getting mine done at 16 weeks 5 days

Got mine at 14 weeks. A few of my really good friends are ultrasound techs, they've all told me 13 weeks is when genitalia is visible in u/s. The basic theory is hamburger vs hot dog and supposedly the hot dog will be very obvious this early on since our babies aren't very fatty yet. Mine was all hamburger/little girl!

I'm going for a 3d ultrasound next week I'll be 16 weeks I heard they usually can tell as long as the baby cooperates.. can't wait!!!

My husband and I found out at 14 weeks we are having a baby boy! My doctor said you can see boy parts a lot sooner then girls! I'm sure you will have good luck at your 16 week scan! :)
