Good place to keep the crib

hello Mommies,

I want suggestion from you guys on where to put the crib.. I have a spot which is just near a window where I will get some sunshine until noon and rest of the day it's only the sun light simply. I thought those morning sun are good for the baby. Of course I have blinds which i can close when the baby is asleep. So should I put the crib near that window or do I have to place it away from sunlight.

Thank u mommies for your time

Our crib is close to the window but not exactly in front we have a small room for a room so we didn't have much choice if we wanted to keep the futon in the room . I think its really up to you

I was actually told tonight in my birthing class that baby shouldn't be near any Windows air vents or fans cause they create to much of a draft and it is really hard for baby to regulate his temperature and it can make them more prone to getting sick. So I guess I am rearrange his room :)

i was told by my cpr / first aid instructor to keep the crib and changing table away from any windows. climbing will be an issue at some point, plus babies shouldn't be kept in a draft and you should air out the room daily. baby can process vitamin D from playtime on a sunny spot in the room or from walks in the fresh air. No need to worry about that!

No windows for us. Babies like to climb after a certain age & I wouldnt want the glass breaking for any reason.

I agree with harmony!  I have mine away from the window. I also watch too much crime tv and having a child near the window makes me nervous!

I have mine away from the window. The window can be drafty/noisy/hot/cold etc. also the same goes for keeping it away from the air/heat vent. U don't want anything blowing directly on the baby. Anything to get the baby sleeping through naps & night time.
