Im so sorry for your loss.....I lost a baby as well....this is so so sad....(( hugs )))
I had twins.....a baby boy and a baby girl...2009.....Everything was fine, but I was VERY sick, the doctor gave me zofran, and I took it all of the time, when I got the ultrasound to see the sex of my babies, one was a boy, one a girl...we went out that day and bought 2 outfits....I was in my 7th month. One week later, I had another ultrasound, and my sons heart had just stopped beating...:'( No one knew why....they said Id lose my daughter as well...but instead, they gave me hormone shots to keep her. I had to carry my deceased son inside as well...I cant even begin to explain how that felt ....and they did many studies on him in utero...there was nothing wrong with him at all, but he had water around his heart. I went into labor, and he was born first....then my daughter. We NEVER knew what happened to our son....and I was just washing dishes, and saw this n the tv....and just fell apart. I realize now, this may be why I lost my sweet baby boy......so so sad....please if your taking this, stop!!!!
I took Zofran to help with morning sickness with my second baby and suffered a miscarriage weeks later and this was in 2012 so this is crazy that just now I'm hearing of it being linked to this. I took the miscarriage very hard and was severely depress behind cause I could not understand how a baby goes from light movements at about 12weeks to just dead.
Omg!!! Thank God i only took it once yesterday for my vomiting. Glad my vomiting stopped and now i read this, i rather puke than take it again. Ive gotta tell my husband about this.
Shoot I wouldn't have made it without the generic brand of zofran..the off brand must be different cause I don't think it's recalled.
Mayb she never had HG nd just the normal vomiting nf nausea which can b toughed out for some....i was admitted at the hospital for HG..spent 5 days there plus aftet i got discharged from the hospital ive been and out of there on drips etc....so i for sure couldny tough it out (HG) at times id say i give up....anyway,howevr i dnt kno much about zophran ,ive seen alot of ppl sendin out warnings n some said thnx to it,bt it makes me wonder y they totally banned it from sellin where im from.
This is scary ive taken this as a matter of fact 9 times. My doctor prescribed this knowing it has been recalled and had issues since 2011. Why would they keep giving it to people. Now im worried sick because if something is wrong with my baby thats not fair to me. No one told me there was safty precausions. No one told me there was any issues when he prescribed it. This is not right at all.
Yes I seen the recall commerical and was wondering why some women on here was faithfully suggesting it as a cure for throwing up. Ugh...I'm glad I decided to just tough out the early stages and not get medicated.
Diclectin should be fine.
I was taking the generic zofrain but stopped after seeing the recall
Ive seen many people posting anout it lately...thnk god for some reason they stopped sellin it in my country....gravol really helps nd that ive taken when i use to be sick
I delivered a stillborn a year ago and i took this medicine all the time faithfully . I'm wondering if this medication may have contributed to this. My baby was fine on the 3rd of January and I went back for a checkup on the 31st of January and there was no heartbeat.
Just letting you ladies know
