sore nipples

I understand that your nipples are supposed to be sore but I'm 19 weeks now and they still are! How long does it last?

Mine were sore my entire first pregnancy and shaping up to be the same this time too. They'll get worse and be uncomfortable for generally the first 4-6 weeks of breastfeeding. And then your body will adjust and your nipples will get used to it and it won't hurt at all anymore. It's tough at first but don't give up! It gets better I promise! I nursed my son until he was two years old. If it had hurt the whole time there's no way I would have made it so long. I can't wait to do it all over again.

Oh my, its just so annoying how sore they are and I want to breast feed and I heard they're going to be worse, so I'm guessing I'm not going to catch a break.
