I am a stay at home mum I am pregnant with number 3.  I have work part time on and off over the past 5years with my other 2. It is hard working and being a mum and getting a good balance. We have found we are financially better off for me to be a stay at home mum.

I plan on being a sahm during the week and work the weekends. Don't really need to because my husband makes enough to pay for bills and buy groceries but we like to have a little extra spending money!

I'm a stay at home mom of two with a third on the way. There are certainly tough days, but mostly it's rewarding. My first now tells me, "I love you so much." almost on a daily basis. We get out to the library once a week and to a mom group I'm part of, and that helps break up the monotony of the daily grind with little ones.

I plan to take the full 12 weeks of FMLA protected leave and then go back to work. I love what I do, being a nurse is what I was meant for and I worked too hard for my training and my degree to give it up. I am lucky enough to be able to work only 3 overnight shifts a week - my son goes to preschool in the morning after I get home so I can sleep for 5 or 6 hours and after that we are together, and I imagine the schedule will be the same when baby arrives. I don't miss out on milestones or the learning and playing together, but I also very much enjoy the adult interaction and use of my skills at work and appreciate the financial freedom my paycheck contributes to our household. It is a good balance for me and my family.

I'm hoping to stay home until bubs is 7 months. I have to go back to work due to high mortgage etc. I'm hoping maybe working 4 days and not full time. I work in childcare so bubs will come to childcare with me for hopefully just three days....since I work in the industry it's very cheap for us luckily.

I am a stay at home mom now! Expecting our second and let me tell you..it is hard..it is 24/7..you will want to rip your hair out some days but with all the bad comes all the good things like all the cuddles and you don't get to miss out on any milestone. You don't have to worry about calling in sick when they are sick, you are always there for them! But what really sold my husband is when we actually looked into the price of daycare.it is outrageous!  Yes we struggle here and there but we pay our bills and buy groceries but that's it. We don't mind at all..you can do little things like babysit a few days a week for a good friend or family member, I sell things online as well. It is doable!

I have a little boy who will be 2 a week on Sunday and have worked 2 days a week since he was 8 months and also private tutoring a couple of afternoons a week. It has worked really well so far, I'm fortunate in that my mum has my little boy for one day a week and a child minder the other day that I work do he gets the best of both socialising and being spoilt! With number 2 on the way we are financially in a position for me to not have to return to work as well as continue my son's childcare for a little while so that I can have some time to do a baby class while my son can still play with his little friends without having to tag along to the baby things! Really looking forward to not having the stress of working particular days and planning more activities as a family of four!
