stronger baby movements

Anyone else with me on this? I'll be 36 weeks on Saturday and over the past few days I have noticed my son's movements are a lot stronger. He really rocks and rolls lately. Is anyone else noticing this? Sometimes when he moves I get sharp pains in my cervix area. It always scares me a little since I don't know what a contraction feels like. But I just want to be sure it's not that he's in distress he is just getting stronger and less room to move. 31 days to go! (Hopefully sooner)

I am in the exact same boat! I too am worried that her movements are really contractions or vice versa. People keep telling me that I "will know" when it's labor so I am trying to just believe it...
My doctor said her movements would feel stronger because she has less room, and that a baby in distress will normally move less or movements will be weaker. If you're really worried I would call the doc or nurse and just talk it through with them and see what they say

Yep mine has been doing that for the past 2 weeks and I'm 37 weeks.. I'm not sure if it is a problem I always figured it was a good thing. I would ask your ob and see what they think
