I'm a teacher too, second grade, and I've only really had one day with only minor swelling. I'm 30 weeks, 4 days. I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day and to sit as much as I can. We had a teacher go into early labor due to high blood pressure and swelling/dehydration in February so now my team mates are babying me. But I don't mind!
Yip I posted this yesterday. My feet and ankles look like those of an obese woman. It just started at 30 weeks out of nowhere.
My ankles and feet are terrible, I can barely wear any of my shoes most days. And I can't even wear my wedding rings anymore:(
My shoes fit tighter but i really notice swelling in my feet if i had a very busy Day at both work then home. I am 33 weeks.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one! I feel somewhat embarrassed about the way my ankles in particular look! Inmyfreetime I teach 6-8 so I have a lot of respect for you! I'm sure you're walking, bending, and stooping all day with the little ones.
Hi all,
Ftm at 29+2 and since week 27 I have swollen ankles. Especially the one on the right. In the mornings they look and feel pretty OK. By midday, after my daily nap (can't do without) it's game on. No matter how little I walked on it in the morning or if I had it up on a chair or something, guaranteed every evening I'm up for a massage because i can barely walk. Lucky me, hubby usually has time for a good feet rub. Starting this week also my wedding rings had to be left on the cupboard. Good luck y'all and God bless.
