I have to have a c section as well.  My son had to be delivered via emergency c section, therefore it is recommended that this one is as well.  The reason is because a vbac has very high risk and extra specialists would be needed  forcing me to go to st Louis to deliver to have all the extra care.  There is risk of bleeding to death, and other issues this its safest for me to have a second c section.  Some women feel they r cheated by this or like less of a woman/mother but I don't because I carried the child full term dealing with all the woes of pregnancy and afterwards raising my son like any other mother..the way he entered the world doesn't define my motherhood except the fact that when they said he was in danger I agreed for them to do what they had to to assure my son was ok...plus I had been in labor for 25 hrs!  So its ok..there's some extra caution u have to take when coming home but it will all work out and u will be a great mom for making a hard decision to ensure ur child's safety.  Hope this helps.
