Thank you ladies I will definitely look into those, I purchased a Colombian faja too from leonisa fajas I read good reviews on it for post partum.
I'm planning to, I just don't know which one. My friend used vedette and ideal after her first pregnancy. I'm also looking into some of the Colombian ones like fajas colombianas or fajate (faja is the Spanish word for girdle or waist cincher

I used the Bellefit girdle. I really really liked it. It is well worth the $$. It stays in place doesn't ride up.
I'm not using an actual cinched/corset type thing and never have. I DO use a belly wrap though. You can get a good strong one for free at your hospital sometimes if you ask. They will give you the post partum wrap that they give c section patients. Not very fashonable but it is sturdy and strong and has a lot of give to it. Also I have used and will be using with this birth a wrap. It appears just as strong as others I have used before. The good thing about the stretchy ones is they have give so u can breathe easier in them and still move or sit comfortably. They also have hip wraps to help make your hips as small or smaller than pre pregnancy *guaranteed!* or so it says....I wouldn't know, haven't tried that out but I might because my hips are so wide already that jeans shopping after my second child has been a serious chore.
