She due first Appt. if day ir early appt.
Find out if you need to fast for 6-8 hours. Set alarm to go off during night and wake up and eat high protien and high fiber snack/meal.

This is really a simple issue to solve. Good quality food more often, protien before bed, a snack on your nightstand.

I'm hungry all day/night =/
And my sugar test is next week =(
Can I refuse to take it or is there a substitute for it where one doesn't have to fast?

Is everyone getting enough protien? Try to get 60-80 grams per day. You should have protien with your cereal in AM.
Boiled Egg or 2, Yogurt, Cottage Cheese etc.

String Cheese is an excellent and easy on the go safe snack! Peanut or Almond Butter with Fruit. HUMMUS with vegies. Asparagus, Spinach, Broccoli all have protien as do beans, legumes etc. so you don't have to depend on meat.

You can also use a protien shake to I crease protien and healthy calories. I drink a smoothey each morning and throw in a 30 gram scoop of protien powder.

It's not the quantity of food that will keep hunger away while pregnant, but the quality.

When I eat good quality I stay satiated. When I eat fast food, too much bread and strarches, I seem to never get enough because I body is craving food with nutritional value for the baby

I bring a peanut butter sandwich with me to bed every night because I have the same problem. I usually eat like half of it in the middle of the night if I wake up hungry and half of it in the morning before I get up. It has helped a ton!  I've been having such a hard time sleeping because I have to get up so often to pee, and if I'm even just a little bit hungry I can't go back to sleep because I feel sick. I just keep the sandwich next to my bed in a Tupperware, that way I don't have to go searching for something to eat at 2am.

You should try having 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, yogurt, 2 oz. cheese., 6-8 oz.glass of milk, 6-8 oz. glass Almond milk, 3 oz. chicken or some other "Protien" snack before bed. You and your baby are burning calories at night! You can also buy a few protien bars, cut in 1/2 or into bite sizes, and use a plastic bag to store to keep next to the bed with a bit of water. If you wake at night you can grab a bite without having to get up.

This is the one time in life that a snack right before bed is good! Just don't get in the ice cream habit or cereal habit before bed....sugary fats will cause more weight gain then you may want when eaten right before sleep!

Don't worry, the fasting test is only if you fail the first test.
