Okay....So I thought wic was where you can buy baby food for you baby.
Not food for me.... I would've never got on wic if I knew it's was just **** for me.

Yes you can still get wic while breastfeeding..they actually push for breastfeeding. What I was saying was dont say you're formula feeding if you're actually breastfeeding..you wouldnt need the formula in that case so why take it.

You can still get WIC and breastfeed....it helps with the cost of buying baby food and other essentials you will need later on when it's time to start introducing new things to the baby.....WIC has different stages even with breastfeeding mom's

Dont apply if you truly dont need it..there's plenty of people who could use the help. And if you are going to breastfeed do not listen to the person above who said to tell them youre going to formula feed. Why would they give you formula if you are breastfeeding and dont need it?

WIC is not like food stamps Ice you give birth then you will receive milk and other things for your baby .

Yea it's good to sign up before the baby is here n just take wat dey give u. Also if u planning on breastfeeding when the baby is here,make sure when dey ask u , u say u doin both breastfeeding and givin formula so dey can give u formula. My friend did the mistake of sayin she only was breastfeeding and dey didn't want to give her the formula.

Why would they give you baby things when you're still pregnant? WomenInfantChildren. The things on there now is for you to eat healthy. Wic can also give you information classes on healthy eating, breastfeeding and some even give out the pumps. Trust me when I say your signing up now came in handy! Esp if you will bottle feed as the milk is expensive. Plus after you have the baby you will not have the long wait for an appointment. If you don't want the Wic items now just give them to some one else in need...I'm sure someone would be glad to get free milk.

Yeah I'm still pregnant, and I don't need wic to get the stuff that's not baby food. I was getting on it for baby formula and baby food because I thought that's what it was for. Not something like food stamps

I hace wic n I'm 30 weeks. Once baby is born then you get formula and baby things. Until then you only get things like milk cheese juice eggs fruit...etc.

It is for baby food , dey give formula n baby food n stuff for yourself also if your breastfeeding. Wat r dey not givin u n how old is ur baby ? ..if ur pregnant of course dey not going to give u the baby stuff yet.
