yeast infection

Had my appt this morning. Asked the doctor to check me. I've had discomfort after sex, a week ago I bled a little, and my intuition tells me I'm not quite "fresh" down there. No smelliness, no discharge just discomfort. Doctor refused to check me. Saying, "maybe you should just stop having sex". Ummmmmm... wtf? So since my doctor, who won't be my doctor anymore after today (I'm currently searching for a new one at 27wks), is no help maybe you ladies have some recommendations. Have your dr's ok'd monistat7 or any of those options?

Apple cider vinegar  mixed with water and douche.  Take probiotics. Cleared up my candida. Also don't eat sugar

And that is my fear lurooney. I don't want to pass it on to her. I guess I'll use the 7 day instead of the higher dosage ones just to be safe.

Well an itch is a classic sign of yeast infection, monistat is ok to use as above poster said..try eating some natural yohgurt too,it does help..i used to suffer awful bad with yeast infections,my first baby was even born with it too as i passed it onto her, poor thing had it awful bad..if the cream doesnt work youll defintely need an antibiotic to clear it up..your doctor should be ashamed not checking this out for you

Monistat is ok to use however when the infection is a bit more serious you may need an antibiotic.. and I hope that after you follow through with an official complaint with her medical group or whatever hospital she's practicing at you find a better doctor.

What a ignorant doctor seriously...are you itchy? Coz with a yeast infection it will cause you to itch a lot, there are safe creams you can get no problem for it plus eating natural yohgurt is good too
