10 week u/s and graduated to OBGYN

So today was my first appt with the real OB GYN (I had gone to a fertility clinic on June 19, but got preg on my own on June 26) - so I had been going to the clinic for my weekly appts - and I loved it there. I even brought my nurse a gift card for a massage - she was the best. At the new place they were pretty good (it's a very nice / swanky office - like the W hotel!). They told me my subchorionic hemorrhage is barely there - to resume normal activity, stop progesterone suppositories and everything looks great. My new DR is VERY laid back - which I am not sure about. She was like "work out, ok to highlight hair, ok to have sex (even with hemorrhage)" - but almost too laid back. Even said eating tuna, swordfish ok - but keep to a LOW amount. I thought that was a big no no?? Not a big deal, I don't eat it anyway.

So next step is the genetic testing next week and results the following week at my 12 wk appt (they can tell with 95% accuracy if there is a trace of downs syndrome).

So - still no major symptoms - and pregnancy looks good with heart at 166 BPM and measuring just about 10 weeks.

she even told me to drink caffine for a headache - i'd rather suffer through it though - too many conflicting things out there.

Those kinds of fish are ok in moderation. Canned tuna i think you can even have a couple times a week. Tuna steak not as much, and only like a 4oz portion.

You are a lucky girl!! Everything looks good and you feel good, I am jealous ;). I am not all that sick, but enough to make me miserable some mornings. My doctor said the same thing about tuna, it is okay as long as it is no more than once or twice a week. I usually like tuna, but I am still too scared to eat any.

Glad everything is going well!

Congrats on a good appointment....I just left you a note. Guess I should have checked the board first. :)
