I've been experiencing the same thing. Ever since Thanksgiving he has been a little less "active". I just had my monthly appointment yesterday and she said that is normal. I think something like this is more to worry about around our 30th week and so on. I know my doc mentioned that on my next appointment she is going to have me start doing these "kick counts"...I think if significantly less movement or none at all around that time would be something to worry about. I am sure what you are exeprieincing is normal...though if it keeps up you might want to just call your doc to set your mind at ease...that's what they're there for too. ;)
this was my constant worry and it wasn't until at thanksgiving my movements progressed to feeling her several times throughout the day - at at Thanksgiving I was 24 weeks. BUT I was also the queen at getting nervous and every time I did - I marched to the DR for a heartbeat check to set my mind at ease.
Don't worry :) At 22 weeks I could go a day without feeling her move... but then sure enough, she would start moving right at that 24 hour mark! This is my first little one as well, and I am a little paranoid as well... I just keep telling myself "she is fine... stop worrying!" It is hard though :)
Yup, has happend to me. The baby could have flipped backwards (With the feet/hands inward and it's back at your tummy) If that makes any sense Lol. My LO does that, but now that he's big enough, I can feel him kicking either way!
Your placenta could have moved slightly also, so it'd be harder to feel through that. But it's likely just moved into a different position and your not really feeling it as much
I had the same thing happen to me at 21 weeks. After 3 days i went to labour and delivery to get checked out. He's fine, he probably just moved into a location where i couldn't feel him. As soon as i got home he started kicing up a storm. i was told that after 28 weeks if i don't feel anything for a few hours then to come in, but they were glad they were able to reassure me
Phin will do the same to me and it definately wories me. Drink something icy cold or eat a sweet something and lay down on your left side, that should get her going. My dr said if I do and he still hasn't moved in an hour to then call in. So far he has always moved within that hour.
