thanks everyone, its not like bright green... its just a very slight green but yea i didnt hink it was normal either!
Yeah, I was thinking of you going to the E.R. too. I would skip the Dr. because she doesn't seem to be listening or thinking that this is very serious. I'm not sure what week you're on, I'm at 29 1/2 and have had yellow and white but not green. I had yellow, white and clear with my last full term pregnancy, but never green (I actually did not ever see my mucas plug with my son's pregnancy, so I don't know what that looks like). I would go with Amy's sugg. about the ziplock bag and try to get into the E.R. as soon as you can so maybe there's still some in you so they can get a clean culture and if not, you've got the ziplock sample. Also, with the last few weeks of my pregnancy with my son, I thought I was leaking fluid, it was totally clear and liquid, not like discharge so I was checked 2 or 3 times between my Dr. and the E.R., they tested it and it wasn't amnio. fluid, but I'm just saying they can check yours too to make sure it's not.
I know that when you are in labor they look out for some green mucous stuff because it can get in the baby's lungs...but I don't know about when you aren't in labor. If I were you I would save it...like wipe and then put the toilet paper in a ziplock bag and go to your dr or ER right then.
I am not sure but sometimes I get the mucasy discharge. I had my DR check it - but it was just white or clear - not green. Sometimes if it is green it can be an infection - like when you have a cold. Maybe they can do a culture for you?
