Jem-
I know it is scary to think about them spitting up and potentially choking on it...but I quit worrying so much when I actually watched Blake do it. She has reflux pretty bad and sometimes she has scared me pretty badly with her gagging on her spit up but she really will work it out on her own if I don't assist her. I have watched her spit up in her bassinet and her sleep positioner has stains to prove it happened! She just turns her head and spits up and then goes back to sleep. haha I am like "Ok...well I guess you are ok then"
Blake is still in her bassinette in our room. Her actual room is right across the hall and we might start putting her in her crib..in her room..so we can sleep without listening to her grunt and scoot around. I don't sleep well at all. I sleep off and on. I feel like I have to check on her all the time because she is right there you know? I think my goal next week after her official 2month check up will be to move her to her own crib. :)
i am with you ladies - hayden sleeps in her room now and comes in with us only after 5 am. BUT we are not totally crib bound - she is sleeping in her bouncy in her room but we need to get her crib bound. I know this sounds dump - but i am nervous to put her in the crib because she is then so flat - what is she spits up?? at least in her bouncy she is upright???
Yes! Isn't it. I loved loved loved having her sleep in bed with us, but at around I think 4-5 weeks, my husband and I just felt so disconnected. So, we made the transition into her own bed. Although, when she wakes up around 5:45am, we bring her into our room for some snuggle time :) It hasn't affected our sleep in the sense that I am still up with her every 3 hours on the dot... even when she was in bed with us I was up every 3 hours. Oh well. :) I hope it gets better soon!
