Could I be Leaking fluid?

I am 3 months (12 weeks) pregnant. 4 or 5 months ago I suffered a miscarriage at 8 weeks. At the 7 week mark of my current pregnancy I woke up covered in blood and thought I had lost this baby too. The baby was fine and I was told I have a small subchronic haemotomia. It is only small so I've been told not to worry too much about it. lDue to my recent miscarriage though everything is a worry to me! I have a 2 year old daughter and my pregnancy with her was perfect with none of the complications I've had since then. Anyway, I've noticed |I have excessive discharge. Sometimes it is clear, sometimes it is white and sometimes it is thick and gooey. Could I be loosing fluid due to the earlier complications of the subchronic bleed? Everytime I go to the toilet there is more there, I am starting to get really worried. Can anyone reassure me???

Hi Kylee -
I too had the subchorionic hemorrhage, at 9 weeks, and within a few weeks it completely cleared up on its own. I had a previous miscarriage and was so nervous too. i think your feelings and concerns are totally normal and likely nothing to worry about - but do air your concerns to your DR. Also I had a friend who did have PROM, which is where the membranes rupture and you loose your amniotic fluid, but that is like a real gush that keeps coming - very different than just discharge.

Best of luck and let us know how things go!

I had a ton of disharge while pregnant. I believe it is normal, but I would call in to yor doctro and just have them teste the fluid. They can test to see if it is amniotic fluid. Good luck and happy holidays!
