Now on to the weight loss

OK - so Hayden is two weeks old tomorrow - and so this extra layer needs to get GOING! I feel like I did drop initially - but put on FAR too much weight with this pregnancy and I am just eager to shake it. MY boobs are huge (remember me - the G cup girl!??) - but while I breast feed - there is no changing that. My appetite totally went down after having her - and I shed about 25 lbs already. I have another 30 to go!

My goal is to be back to normal by July. I am eating very healthy and soon - as the weather cooperates and we get into a routine - I want to start working out.

How is everyone else doing on this front? As frustrated as I am right now?? I am still wearing yoga pants daily!!!

I could care less about the weight. I put on a lot due to the fertility drugs and then the pregnancy so I figure between breastfeeding and healthy food choices I will get back to where I was by the end of summer, but I am not stressing about it because I have a baby!

It takes 9 months to put it on, it should take that to get it off.....or back to your shape.

i should've added that while i'm in my fat jeans....my thighs are thunder thighs. and i was in the hospital for 5 weeks, gestational diabetic, and at times was starving following the strict diet they had me on

Besides walking they don't even recomend much working out for 6 weeks...gove your body time to heal, our walk was 4 whole blocks...and that was more then enough

UGH I am still in my yoga pants and sweats too..... I did drop about 18lbs right after birth but I am still heavier than when i got pregnant (about 10lbs) But I do want to lose a total of 30 more lbs! So i have some work to do.... I know this might sound silly but I didnt know if it was ok to work out while i was still bleeding?? Noah is 3 weeks and I feel ok other wise but really havent started the work outs yet due to the fact the am still bleeding.... but heck it sounds like you ladies are working out already so i better get on it! I have tons of weight to lose....

Jem-

Nursing is definitely going to help you shed the pounds- it definitely helped me with my first! Little Hayden will definitely get on a schedule soon and then you will be able to exercise more.... I am lucky because I am a stay at home mom and when Mark takes his long afternoon nap I am able to do my routine. My four year old does it with me and we make it a game.

Do you have a pump? If you do, I would recommend you pump once a day (first thing in the morning is what the experts recommend). Then, at night when your husband is home he can feed your daughter while you take some time to work out!

uggg, let me just say I AM SO JEALOUS! I really hope this breastfeeding helps!! I am gearing up to get into a work out routine - but the weather here in chicago has to cooperate and we just got dumped on today with snow. Plus Hayden needs to get into a routine that i understand - right now I live and breath according to her clock of eating, which seems to be ALL THE TIME.

I'm back in my "fat" jeans and regular bras (not breastfeeding) and only have 4 lbs to my pre-pregnancy weight, still flabby but i had a pretty good roll before anyways. I'm not allowed to do much because of my seperated pelvis but my goal is  to lose about 20lbs when i can start exercising.

I started my post natal workout video when Mark was 4 days old, and got back on the treadmill when he was a week old. So everyday I do an hour of jogging on the treadmill and an hour long postnatal workout video.

I fit nicely into my "fat" jeans (you know, the jeans you where when you are bloated and on AF). My boobs, too, are huge... a 34F so I can only wear my size small or medium tops. Still my body is far from where I need it to be, but I am giving myself 8 months to recover.

I hate the jiggle, but should be thankful because with my first I was far heavier. Once I get the go ahead from my midwife I will be going back to Bikram Yoga... and I cannot wait for that day- I feel the need to sweat!
