I'm 14 weeks, and have had two weeks of daily headaches/migraines. Been feeling achey, tight chested, congested, and light headed, but don't know what's pregnancy or what's due to a virus from being run down and stressed recently. I know headaches and congestion are 'normal' due to increased fluids in the body.

The worst at the mo for me though is getting nausea if i try to eat any proper food, that started yesterday, and nearly threw up trying to make myself eat a few mouthfuls of my dinner. Quite different from the morning sickness i had which came if i hadnt eaten for a few hours and went away when  ate something. The doctor said its part of the pregnancy and isnt worried, i worry baby isnt getting enough nutrients because my body doesn't want food though.

I bought a snoogle too.  Actually DH bought it from Toys R Us and the first night I had it I slept like a baby.  It is comfy and love the contours.  They are quite expensive for a pillow but worth it.  I even bring it to the living room when lying down the sofa for movie nights.  My only problem now is sitting down for long periods of time.  it hurts my back too. I am 17weeks and quite big for how far along I am.  Everyone says I must be carrying twins but six weeks ultrasound says one so that settles it. :0) minor cramps here and there too... But today inspite of my good night sleep, I am super tired.  it feels like I can lie down on the carpet and snooze any minute

I use to have the backaches until I bought a huge body pillow to help from keeping my back getting all twisted...obviously that is that thing to do! :) The ear ache thing I did have a few weeks ago...I figured I was getting an ear infection but when you are pregnant you think everything has to do with baby! I asked my dr and he said it was probably allergies or sinus. I only occasionally get headaches. I use to get headaches all the time before I was pregnant and now I don't as often so I am not going to complain. I am sure they will come back though after baby. :(

I hope you feel better soon...it ***** to have all these aches and pains!!

I bought one of those pillows too! I love it ... and so does my husband sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to pee and when I get back he already has it entwined with his body ! lol ... it is a nightly struggle to keep it on my side of the bed .

Yes... I agree with the back aches.  I am in my 18th week, and I also get cramps... so it only aggrivates the back ache.  I am sleeping with a snoogle, and that seems to REALLY help.  I am not too sure about the ear aches and I have not had headaches since about my 16th week.  But, they s u c k.  Hopefully your headaches end in the 16th week too! :)

I AM!! well - lower back is JUST killing me. Especially the last few days - and sometimes i can't even tell if I have cramps or if it is just back aches - but I think it is just back. I tried going for a long walk this weekend and it has not been the same since. I am 16 weeks too. I also have the headaches. They come and last for a day or two - then I get a day or two break and then they come back. Try sitting on a pillow or walking around.

Not sure about the ear - but I keep reading / hearing you increase the amount of mucas your body makes - so more discharge, more sinus issues, the works. That is likely why you have the ear aches.

So in sum - yeah - I am at the same pace you are at (16 weeks) and feel your pain, literally.

I go to DR on Thursday - so stay tuned.
