anyone feeling short cramps every now and then?

Well we are on our 36th weeks and cant be any happier getting close to the big day.  aside from cramps on one side of my tummy every now and then, it feels like baby is trying to push himself out sometimes and it hurts down there.  he does it all of a sudden that it makes it harder for me to walk.  I think he is getting ready or practicing for the big day.

Anyone feeling this too?

Yes! I am right there with you! Sometimes i swear it feels like he is trying to punch or kick his way right out.... and I tend to get sharp pains on and off in my cervix..... and I have been starting to feel crampy like I am going to start my period.... feels different than braxton hicks.....just kinda crampy

Yes! I feel weird sensations all the time and I am always worried that I am about to go into labor or something! :)

I have pain "down there" that feels kinda achy like when you are about to start your period. (I was very aware of my body though when I would ovulate or start my period...more so than my friends were...so my descriptions might mean nothing to you if you aren't as uber sensitive as I am.) The ache is more external than internal..not my uterus but labia more...then every once in a while I have sharper pains but they don't last but a few seconds. Also if I am walking too much (like at walmart or wherever) I feel like she is about to "fall out" or something like it because I feel a heavy pressure down there that makes me stop walking or I have to waddle like an old lady.

I sometimes find it hard to tell if she is stretching or if I am having a contraction...because I will feel her push against me and I know that is her and then other times I have the same sensation but I am not so sure...
And I have been having those sensations lower in my uterus  where it is a bit painful too...I don't know. I am probably over thinking it. Anyone else know what I am talking about???

I had a dr appt today and she said that the contractions have to be consistant and close and they will hurt...so wait for the ones that hurt I guess. Ahh I am nervous!! :)

Right there with ya. I am 35 weeks and have been experiencing off and on cramps, nausea and just all around yuckiness (similar to when my period would start). I don't get them every day but I can imagine everything inside is just gearing up for the big day.
