justoce- if you lift up the matress al the info should be there. Alot of these cribs were alreadypart of a recall

I saw that... we don't own a drop side.  In fact, I heard that in the US the government is trying to restrict manufactures from even making drop sides because they are so dangerous.  I remember my brother and sister having drop sides when they were babies and once they could stand, they would hold on and bounce, making the drop side become detatched.  Granted my siblings are fine, but a little scary to say the least!

Oh man.... My crib was a gift and I know it sounds crazy  but I am not sure what brand it is (it was set up for me as a surprise, so I didnt see the box).... I feel stupid LOL but now all these recalls worry me..... I need to ask my mother what type it was....

The recall they announced yesterday is a NEW one and I'm sure a few of us have these cribs. I have to laugh though at "stop using these cribs immeaditly" well where to they expect our kids to sleep and it really ***** that i paid extra to have a drop side crib because of my back and now the part they will send (if my crib is on the list) will stop it from dropping down. Yes my child's safety comes first, I'm just sick of all these recalls (and suffering from lack of sleep)
