4 weeks gestational may be a little early for the heartbeat...I've heard several stories of them not getting hbs until at least 6-8 wks gestation.  You should be able to see the yolk sac...possibly fetal pole...but will probably have to reconfirm for hb a couple of weeks later.  Just don't stress yourself out if you don't see the hb on the 11th...it's still early.

How did you get that ticker things?
Were u 5 weeks LMP or gestinal when u got the U/S? I ovulated on 11-July and have my US on 11 Aug...was wondering if it is too early? I would be really worried if I dont see the heartbeat....let me know if u think I should move it?
And after all the RE stuff I have gone through, I am not even close to being shy. Infacts I had my dh with me during each of my IUIs, and this is just a US...and I think he deserves to see this...we both have waited a very long time.

congratulations! we are not very far from each other then! i am so happy to see all of us 2ww buddies getting pregnant... god is good! about the heartbeat... i was 5weeks then and did not see aheartbeat mainly because the radiologist is a mean one and would not even let dh in.... just a piece of advice ask questions dont be shy like me or you will regret it...dont let mean medical pips push you..... is this hormones? lol!

Hi Jen....They have asked me to come in for an US on August 11...I guess I would have completed 4 week of gestational...is it too early?? Will I get to hear a heartbeat then ? I am super excited.

After they see the sac and stuff I guess the RE will send me back to the Ob/gyn....i will keep you posted on what goes on and take ur inputs since u have gone through all this recently.
What is nuchal translucency?
I have been bloated forever now, but have no signs of pregnancy...no nausea...no breast soreness....isn't that strange?

On dates... I would say that you should be at about 5 weeks LMP (last menstrual period), 3 weeks gestational.  If they are wanting to do an early ultrasound I think you should wait another 3-4 weeks.  At that point you should be able to see a fetal pole, sac, and possibly, possibly a heart beat.  Try to take it a bit easy, take those pre-natals, eat healthy and try not to stress.  If your little bean can stick for another 3-4 weeks the risk of early miscarriage drops tremendously.  After 8 weeks and they see a heartbeat you are past a big hurdle.  The next one after that is 14 weeks LMP, 12 weeks gestation.  If you are good through that time...you can take another big deep breath.  

My suggestions early on would be to try and relax as much as possible, rest, take your meds, and have your nuchal translucency test done around 11-12 weeks and not 13.  My reading at 13 was high and I was scared to death for the next 6 weeks.

Things are going much better for me and my family.  Starting to get settled out now.  Emotions are kind of all over the place those first few months and then they settle back down after that.  Keep me posted and I'm sending prayers out to you.

Well after 2.5 years I finally made it....was starting to doubt things but the God did surprise me. U know I have been on meds , clomid for 6 cycles and then femara for 5more...I have had 5 IUI and the next step for me was a lap...i was so freak out by the tought of it...but was mentally preparing myself for it...I took a break on this cycle...no meds, no monitoring, etc...just BBT...also had a root canal and must have popped in alost 100 pain killers like advil, ibrufen a few percocets too...had alcohol...everything they ask not to do....my ovulation was obviously delayed because thats how it is when I am on a natural cycle...i ovulated on CD26 per the BBT, BD that very night......then after like 10 days i started gettig cramps just like i get for my periods...so was prepared for AF to visit...but the temps did not go down for the next couple of days too...I got suspicious and did a Clearblue HPT and boom got a positive...rushed to my RE for bllod works and it got HCG as listed above. So have had 2 hcg test, not progesterone suppostories( did utake those?)...the next one is scheduled tomorrow.
Dont know what happens after that since it is going to be my first baby...i am so excited. ...maybe u can guide me along the way since u r so freah into it.

So if they claculate by weeks from my last period(june 14) I am my 7th week but since I ovulated late,...I would be off in terms of weeks...so what u think my week would be if I ovulated on 11july and my last period was Jun14

OOOoooooo such big huge Congrats...and yes I'd love to hear "the rest of the story".  They'll measure your "weeks" from your last period.  But also know in your mind that you may deliver "late" or measure "early/small".  So if they do early ultrasounds don't be freaked out if they don't see anything until 2-3 weeks after what they expect.  

Your HCG looks good.  Have they scheduled anymore HCG tests or an ultrasound?

hope u remeber me from the 2WW thread. I finally made it after 2.5 years. This is my first pregnany and would need your support through it. Gor my blood work done:
1st: HCG 305, Progesteron 40.5, Esterogen: 593.
2nd(2 days later: HCG: 693.
How do i know what week I am at esp coz i ovulated on CD26
(mine has really been a miracle...i'll share the story if u like)
What should I expect next.

Today we are 7w0d with twins, hopefully both will stick.  HSG 230 6w and 523 two days later.

I got the ticker in the pregnancy tracker you just have to put your information like due date and then you will see in there a link to the pregnancy ticker just click both windows to show it in your profile and when you write posts or reply,  look at the bottom portion of your message before clicking post.  you will see a tab with a small arrow sayingt "Show Ticker" and then click "Pregnancy Ticker"  you will have the option of showing it or not with every post you make..

I had some spotting yesterday brown ones and the doctor told me to rest that is why I am home today.  she also booked me for an early ultrasound tomorrow I will be six weeks four days then.. I hope  they see a heartbeat... I am praying hard for this one.

HCG looks good.  Mine started out in the low 30's but I think the progesterone helped this little bean stick.  Where did you get your ticker?

It's nice to hear from you again and you are half way there... well more.. How is the baby girl doing? I am waiting for my 9weeks ultrasound it will be on August 11.  I am keeping my fingers crossed for a great ultrasound result.  My HCG levels are pretty good 100 for the first and 2418 after 7days from first blood test.
