19-26 day wait....

So the doctor on Friday said that he would not let me go more than a week overdue. So I have as of today 19 to 26 more days.....This is going to drive me insane.

I am a horrible waiter of things and this is by far the most "important thing" wait of my life. Every step along the way has been tied to the inevitable "wait", is anyone else sick of waiting? Waiting for test results, waiting to show, waiting to stop feeling sick, waiting to feel movement, waiting for showers, now waiting for labor.

Ugh and double ugh.

And that is my rant for this dreary, grey and slightly chilly Tuesday.

Side note: I really am in a fairly good mood so have no fear.

Funny enough I have lost all of my nervousness about labor. I am like the calm before a storm right now in attitude. I truly just float through the day with a glazed look about me. I hope that means that he is coming soon.

I am more nervous about getting to the hospital in time...and for my husband to get there in time too! I am not a fan of the whole 5 hour commute he has. :( My dr. said that she would consider inducing at 39 weeks..so I could plan on when my hubby could actually be there. I would love to plan it...I would want to deliver on a Thursday so he could go back to work Monday! :) We would love for him to take time off but right now with the job situations so uncertain we don't feel comfortable with him doing that.

I have been having contractions (I think) all day. But does stress induce them? I think they do...I think I remember that from physio...
We have been having tornados left and right all day long here in OKC and the sirens and the storms and being alone have really worked on my nerves today. My parents were in the middle of the worst one and they were oblivious! (Fortunately not hurt!)

Anyways, yes I am nervous for the delivery but not for normal reasons. I can only have 3 people in the delivery room so I am worried about who I am asking to sit it out...and I am nervous that the delivery will be too fast. I don't want a long long one but I want to experience it...remember it...etc. I know that sounds crazy..

hahaha... I love the sarcasim :)  Yes... I am totally 100% there with you.  As you already know... I am with you on the 19-26 day wait.  Our doctor told us the same thing... she will not let us go past March 7 or 8 (thank god!).  My brother was 2 weeks late and was almost 11 lbs. so I had this fear that I would be pregnant forever and end up with a 10 lb. baby! hahaha... that's my nightmare ;)

Are you getting nervous at all for the delivery?  I haven't been nervous AT ALL until this week.  I don't know what has gotten into me, but I am sooo nervous!  Weird and very annoying.
