Ladies,

I took my daughter to the zoo Sunday and when I say I walked I walked all over that place. Even our park wasn't close and we were there 2+ hours. I felt fine and thought I needed to get out more and exercise during my pregnancy. OMG it was different story once we got home and I sat down. When I went to get back up I thought I was going to die. The pain was unreal. My back and pevic bone or area was hurting really bad. I also had some cramping. So I went up stairs and got in the bed, I elevated my feet a bit but still was in pain. I couldnt even turn on my side without my pevic area hurting. Then on Monday or Tuesday it was no better, I dreaded going to the bathroom or getting up for anything. In fact I ended up eating at my desk. Anyway no different today at far as the back pain. The pevic pain is pretty much gone but I'm debating on calling the nurse line. Seems like everytime I call them they want me to come in then when I get there the doctor says its normal. Geez drives me crazy!! BTW I'm 18w5d.

Any suggestions?

i would suggest soaking your body in some warm water. have hubby rub you down with some massge oils too every night. it will work out the knots eventually. with all the pressure of your growing womb and shifting pelvis, additional pressure like standing or walking for long periods can be a killer. soak in some warm water, pop a panadol for pain and have hubby rub you to sleep. even when i sit for too long my bottocks and lower back starts to hurt. i have to get up and move around. sorry to sound like ur nurse but it is pretty normal lol.
