Well, I was induce with my 1st and 2nd. They were both about the same time lenght, if you count from the time I started with the Pit to having them...Now if you count from the time my water broke to having them my 2nd was about 3hours shorter. Pushing time was A lot shorter (( then again I didnt push very long with my 1st....1st was 18min and 2nd was only 3...YES 3mins)) We had alittle more probs with my 2nd, heart rate...So, its true, Every pregnancy is different...

I started taking EPO at 36 weeks and my mucous plug came away night before last, no contractions though.  Pineapple is meant to help prepare the cervix, but this just gave me severe heartburn :(

ye im 36 wk but over here in leeds we dont get checked for dilation of soften cervix untill your in labour or over due which is pretty silly but my midwife said it was fine to go ahead with epo as once things start to happen its suppose to make dilation alot quicker so we'll see.. cos i only got to 35 weeks with my son im really struggling with this pregnancy now as they say the last 5 weeks are the hardest and my god im starting to feel it now extremley tired back pains anxious bout birth... mamaofonetrying42 how was your second labour compared to first time round quicker more relaxed or still the same as 1st time ?
