All right I'm 28 weeks to the day and for the last 3 weeks or so I haven't been getting much sleep. I have tried almost everything I can think of. Does anyone else have any ideas? Please I need sleep lol.

I have found something that works for me and I have tested it many times. A warm bath around 98 degrees with bath salts . Lavender especially. Sit in it for about 30 mins while doing leg streches really helps me it also helps RLS.

A safe remedy is to take some additional magnesium one hour before bedtime -- it naturally relaxes you. I take extra magnesium for its muscle relaxant benefits (I have chronic contractions) and have been told by my doctor and midwife that up to 800mg daily is safe.

Benadryl works like a charm for me. It's on my preg safe list but ask your doctor first of course :)

I can totally relate! I've been a complete zombie at work lately. Nesting with pillows helps (lol taking a cue from my dog on that one). The other thing that seems to help me is stretching in the evening. It really makes a difference for me with the restless leg thing - most of the time. Hang in there - hope it get's better for you!

I have noticed the same thing the last couple of weeks, I was actually wondering when it would happen....Only thing I can suggest is finding a comfortable position (almost impossible I know) use a ton of pillows, have your partner give you a massage before you lay down, or possibly a nice warm bath.... Most of these things only work for me for a couple of hours then I am up the rest of the night tossing and turning.... I think that is just how its going to be until the baby comes! If you find something that works let me know!
