Ha ha my husband ironically is gaining weight! Thanks for info:)
In my experience you only gain more weight depending on your body typei was almost 200 lbs before pregnancy and in my first trimester I lost 17 lbs and haver only gained 3 lbs my entire pregnancy so I still weigh less than before I was pregnant but I look like I gained alot lol I'm all baby and I look huge they say with girls we get big and the dad gets fat :) this holds true in my case. Boys your body stays smaller longer so they say but I'm a ftm so I wouldn't know that one for sure
Oh OK that's good to know!:) i just want the baby to be healthy main thing, and was worried since gained a lot of weight something could affect baby as well:(
That usually means you were underweight when you got pregnant. Gender of baby has no effect - it's what your body needs to just be pregnant whether boy or girl.
Thanks ladies for sharing. All of what you said makes sense as well! :) it's just crazy all the weight I've gained without over eating. ... oh well as long as baby healthy all that matters!
I gained a littleover 50 pounds with my daughter, 18 lbs with my son, and I've gained about 10 lbs, at 25 weeks on Tuesday, with this little girl. I think it just depends on the baby and hoe your body is adjusting
See I'm having a girl and I ganged 24 lbs so far and I'm olny 26 weeks tomorrow so I don't know guess maybe it just depends on the mom and the baby
It would make sense I think to gain more weight with a boy, but who knows? !
Thanks I'm just always curious on things being a ftm! :) I've gained so much weight (mostly all in belly), and i don't over eat I don't get it! ?
This is my first boy out of 4 girls and I gained more weight with him then I did with all my other pregnancies. I kept loss weight with my girls, and I'm 25 weeks and already gained 29 pounds with him.
