so I just had my baby at 33 weeks, and how she is 36 and about to come home to us! And my question is, I've had a lot of controversies about this, but is it safe to go in a tanning bed while breastfeeding ?
Despite what most people think u can also tan during pregnancy... If tanning hurt the baby then everyone who went to tanning salons would be cooking their insides. You just have to make sure you don't over heat.... So yes tanning and breast feeding is fine. Plus the tanning will make you feel revitalized.
Its perfectly safe but I'd definitely wash my boobs off before breastfeeding if ur using tanning lotion. Also make sure not to burn ur nipples only thing I've ever heard not to do
