Lactation?

So I am able to get milk out of my right breast but not my left. I have colostrum coming out of my left still just no milk. Does this mean I won't be able to produce milk from the left?

There's no need to pump or anything you're colostrum will come in when baby is born and your milk will come in a few days later. Baby needs colostrum you could also see if you can find someone who is breastfeeding and get some milk from them just in case your colostrum doesn't come in right away. That's what I'm going to do.

Oh really! Never heard to use pump before baby gets here lol. If don't lactate in few weeks, will ask doc what should do!  Thanks for info tho

Sometimes it doesn't start until baby is here. I don't have any leaking yet. I hear warm compresses work if you have a blocked milk duct. If it keeps up I'd say wait until you're really close to due date and start using your pump to get the milk flowing.
