Low Platelets

I'm 36 weeks and 3 days and have  really low platelets (64,000 ) this only happens when I get pregnant. I'm on baby #3 and the doctor decided to put me on prednisone this is my first time taking this medication,  , of course they have to tell you the pros and cons the pros are to bring up my platelets but the side effects are kind of scary but since I'm going to be on it for a short amount of time ( 3 weeks) I was wondering if any other mommies have had this problem or have taking this medication while pregnant?

I am currently taking it. My count when I started was 94. Now its stable at 104. I have been on it for about 4 months now. J dknt feel any different but I needed it in order to take pain meds and my blood to clot in delivery. To avoid blood transfusion.

I had it during my second pregnancy. Luckily everything went as planned and I had no problems. So far this pregnancy I'm not experiencing low platelets.
