I was induced last Tues and it only took me 3 1/2 hours with 2 pushes. But the pain was way e
Diferent then my first. And I had no epidural
I was induced last Friday. I was 40+5, 2cm and 50% effaced. Mine took 48 hours for me to be dilated enough to push, but my doctor said the average is 12-18 hours for FTM, and that my labor time was rare. My baby ended up posterior and was too large to fit through my pelvic bone, but he arrived safe and sound through c section.
I was terrified through the whole process, but if there's any support I can share, its that the first moment that you hold your baby, you will forget about everything. Its worth every single second! Good luck!!!
I didn't even need pitocin because I was already dilating fast enough as well , but do a lot of standing and moving your hips to help you dilate faster !
Its actually not bad , I had to be induced and labor went by really fast but the pain was stronger and hard but my active labor was only 8 hours ! I had my baby girl last Tuesday on the 24th! I hope everything goes well and good luck !!
Been here for like 4 hours. Nurse just inserted cervidil... (looks like a tampon) it's to ripen cervix. I am currently 1 cm and 70% effaced. Takes 12 hours with cervidil inside. They say this may start labor and not need pitocin. If not, I will start pitocin in the morning. Now we wait...
I'm also getting induced and terrified any advice would be appreciated
I'm getting induced tonight! I will keep you updated
