My doctors gave me protonix 40 milligrams but I took it two times and it seemed to work but the baby wasn't moving very much so it scared me a lot so I stopped taking it in the baby back to moving again. I take tums my things and I take baking soda and water I also make sure I go to sleep 4 hours before I Eaten anything nothing seems to help anyone know anything I can do or is it just something I'm just going to keep throwing up and deal with it?

Sounds weird but eggs make me vomit. Also I've had to quit citrus fruits. I take Zantac 125 twice a day and doc said I can take tums in between.   Definitely talk with your doc about the meds though.  Agree with elevating head with pillows or you can even raise part of your bed.  Doc explained to me that baby pushing up and increased progesterone relaxing muscles can all cook up awful reflux.   I'm happily able to eat tomato sauces with the Zantac but some foods just had to go.  Fun stuff--u get over morning sickness and puke from reflux--all the while hungry.  Pregnancy is beautiful.

I take a generic prevacid for my heartburn but then when I hit 30 weeks it got worse so I added a magnesium supplement and that helps me a lot. No more heartburn for me!

I feel your pain! I suffered with it pre pregnancy  and  it's  only got worse. Leave at least 2 hours between  eating  and  lying down, or even  slouching. Avoid onion, peppers, chocolate  (even I  give it to this one). I'm  drinking  gaviscon  by the  gallon which  is the only thing that gets rid of it for me.
I've  been  having maternity reflexology and  asked  the lady to focus on my  reflux and back  issues. Both have improved  massively  after just 2 sessions, try that if you're open minded to it? Xx

Had the same problem last night!! I drank a glass of milk and added a second pillow under my head so I was more elevated and it took it away. But, sometimes milk can make reflux work so i don't know whether that will help you or not.
