She's here!!

Arrived at 10:05 pm after 5 hours of pushing!!!  Abigail weighs 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.  She's got a full head of hair to haha.  Had the epidural but it stopped working at 6pm so I had no pain meds for 4 hours tell she came out.  Had to be rushed to surgury after due to tearing in my uteris and internal bleeding but it was all worth it for my little girl!

Okay so I got to the hospital at 11:30am yesterday and they checked and said it def was my amniotic fluid and I was 4cm dilated. They had me lay down for awhile and after 3 hours checked me and I was still at a 4cm so they started me on pitocin and ordered an epidural. I wasn't really having any pain but the anesthesiologist came and put the epidural in, I was so nervous for that but it wasn't bad at all. Once I had that they put my pitocin up to an 10 and after about 30-45 mins I could feel every single contraction, it was so painful I was freaking out so they called the anesthesiologist back and he gave me more meds and once he did I couldn't feel ANYTHING. They checked me 45 mins later and I was 9.5 cm dilated but bc of my nerves I was throwing up and shaking a lot but they had me start to try to push... I could not feel a thing at all! Like EVERYTHING was so numb after that second dose of the epidural. It made me really really tired and I couldn't feel anything I didn't know when to push or if I was even doing anything bc the meds were so strong. The dr came in and said lets turn the epidural down a little so she can feel some contractions and that'll help her push. Well they didn't turn it down they turned it completely off! So the last 2 hours of pushing was no pain meds and it was so so painful. I was getting so tired so fast from pushing. It was so exhausting. It was so hard to get his head under the pubic bone. After awhile it was getting more and more pressure and painful and I was freaking out breathing heavy and started throwing up again and shaking. I started crying and was just in so much pain. The computer was doing a software update so the nurse didn't know when to tell me to push but towards the end I knew when, I was just say omg it hurts it hurts and he would say ok push! I was in so much pain I started getting upset and I was like idc if I get a c section just get him out of me! Lol anyways, once he got under the public bone which seemed like took forever the dr came in and it was a lot easier to push bc my body was helping push him out. I felt like I barely had any pain meds and it hurt a lot at the end, I was grabbing the bed so hard I thought I was going to break the handles! He was born 8 pounds 10 ounces 21.5 inches long. All the Drs and nurses thought he would be maybe 7 pounds so he was a big baby!! It was all worth it though and i would def do it again!
