early arrival?

So far I've had an incredibly easy pregnancy, no sickness or side effects, a very simple 8 months. I'm 34 weeks today, but getting very nervous that my baby will be sent into early labor due to my job. I'm a waitress/ bartender, and move around a LOT at work, and am exhausted by the end of shift. My pelvis always hurts afterwards, I dread work because of the pelvic pain, but otherwise I have a calm lifestyle. Can the few hours of shift work I do send me into early labor? I'm so scared of having my baby early, and don't want to risk it if I can help it.

Ask if they can make an exception for an 8 month pregnant woman lol.

We work table by table, not sections at work, but I'll see what they'll let me do about sitting down. They just implemented a new rule that there's no sitting allowed, but hopefully they'll make an exception! Its either that or they lose an employee :/

Have you talked to your doctor about it? What did they say?  It's always possible, but our bodies usually know what they are doing and will protect the baby as much as they can. Is it possible for you to get a smaller area to wait at work? Or to arrange for a couple breaks during your shift to allow you to sit?
