too many yeast infections during my pregnancy

Im at ftm the on call doctor for my ob made me very nervous. I had three yeast infections so far and she is saying something might be wrong. Has anyone else had this happen to them? My doctor hasn't said anything about it at any of my appointments should I be alarmed??

I don't know what problem it might indicate in you, however it can give the baby thrush at birth. Eat at least one yogurt a day (plain if you can as less sugar is better). Too much sugar contributes to yeast infections. The active cultures in yogurt keep your ph in balance. Good luck.

I've had 3 bacterial infections (BV) so far (almost 34wks) as long as you treat them it's fine, the body is naturally producing these and when your pregnant it's really easy room get out of wack. Could be your soap, could be from sex, could be from too tight underwear or pants, or sweating in your undies and not changing them. You can ask your doc but I think you're fine as long as they get treated.  Now the only reason to be alarmed about BV or yeast infection is that it can cause preterm labor if not treated.  You're fine hun.
