labor story!

Our baby girl made her entrance yesterday morning at 4:15 am. 6lbs14oz. And 2 weeks early! I started  have bad pains on sunday around 1 am but it was constant so i chaulked it up to constipation! After dealing with the pain and spending  most the day in the bathroom i went into labor at 2:30pm (hard contractions, bleeding). Admitted  at 4. After  arguing  with a rude nurse got my epidural at 6:30pm.  Epidural  wore off at about 2:30am. And went around with another nurse who thought i was faking it. Finally got everything resituated.  And the epidural started to kick back  in just in time for the second  round of pushing!  Only had to push 15 min and i got my beautiful Bird  with a full head of hair and 4 stitches! Lol! I just have to say. Dont believe what they show in movies and on tv. That is nothing like the real deal!

Sorry to hear about the jaundice! I'm sure her levels will get up soon! Home is always the best place but I'm sure the drs are taking good care of her.

The past few days have been really long.  But today espically. We were supposed to go home but baby had to stay.  She is too jaundice. They started her on the bili blanket this morning.  But her levels went up from 14 to 18  So she has to stay over night.  =(
