I think that's how my hospital is also. I want him to come when I'm ready but I'm in so much pain! I'm trying to hold out. I'm really really trying.

I have bad back issues that may require induction, but my ob won't do an induction unless I'm past 41 weeks. I am in almost as much pain as my last labor. It really *****!

Sometimes it depends on the hospital. In my area, hospitals no longer will do inductions b before 41 weeks for first time moms unless it is medically necessary for the health of the baby.

Thanks. I'm 1cm dilated and 20% effaced last I checked. This pains getting worse everyday. I feel so selfish because I know he will come.when goes ready. I'll discuss it with him. Thanks :)

Yeah I would just ask your doctor. I was 39 weeks on wed and my doctor asked if I wanted to make my appt to be induced BC I've been used a lot of stress but I said no. Your labor is a lot longer if your cervix hasn't thinned or dialed yet. I'm giving it till next week. Hope she comes BC this has been hell for me.
