what I wish I'd bought prior

I wish I'd had more newborn diapers. He flew through the first ones! I have a boy, so vasaline and gauze, then my nipples were flat apparently, so I had to get medela silicone nipple shields so he would breastfeed. I don't have near enough itty bitty clothes, the newborn clothes were too big!! (FYI he was 40&4, 7lbs .5oz) Vitamin D drops (again cause I breastfeed), a Peri rinse spray type bottle, cause I ripped and needed stitches. Made cleaning myself so much easier!! A sheer style curtain that I draped over the cradle to allow yet block the sun cause he's jaundice. Lots of lanolin for my boobs cause they got sore fast, and hemmroidal pads, line a regular pad with them and it feels amazing. Hope that helps if y'all haven't had baby yet, and good luck!

You don't have to, but with breastfeeding it's hard for baby to get the amount they need. My pediatrician recommended I get some, so I'm still waiting for them to ship.

Mommy_of_two7. I got my nipple shield ar Wal-Mart. Babies r us also has them I think. It helped a lot for me, unfortunately I wasn't able to keep nursing my daughter for long.

The nipple shields? Where do you find those.
My nipples were flat my last child so breastfeeding didn't work for us. I wish to breastfeed this time around ..
