Ahh good suggestion @maggie574! I forgot about the boppy!
My hospital has a hit or miss on those products. Some women said they received them, others said they didn't have any while they were there :(.

I'd add chapstick and your favorite lotion to that list.

Fyi, you'll want to make sure your change of clothes are comfy...you won't fit into your pre pregnancy clothes (most likely), but you might not fit your most recent pregnancy clothes either.

My hospital provided diapers, wipes, pads and mesh (disposable) panties, so I wouldn't go over board with those items, but bring just enough for going home or a just in case.

If you are planning on nursing, you might consider bringing a boppy/nursing pillow (and nursing bra)...the nurses helped me feel comfortable nursing in different positions, but looking back, it would have been helpful to have had my boppy during those very first lessons!

I'm a first time mom myself and I've had my bag packed since I entered into my 3rd trimester (also 31 weeks pregnant right now) here's what I have so far:
For me:
Toothbrush/paste
Travel shampoo
Extra panties (granny style cause you're gonna bleed)
5 overnight ultra thin always pads
Phone charger
Change of clothes
Towel
Pillow
Robe

For the baby:
Nail clippers
3 take home outfits (I don't know what the weather will be like so I packed 1 short sleeve, 1 long sleeve, and one long sleeve with legs)
Mittens, socks, hat
Receiving blanket
5 NB diapers
Wipes

As it gets closer to the big day, I'm going to pack my Polaroid and digital camera! Formula is not necessary since the hospital I'm going to will give me some. ^●^ hope this helps you!
