QUICK QUESTIONS

hello, I am due to have my hair dyed on Thursday evening and I have been going some reading up on and what effects this will have during pregnancy. Will this have any effect on the baby I am about 10 weeks but I haven't had a dating scan as yet. I only have my booking appointment on the 04/09/2015.

Will I be ok and will the Baby be ok???

I'm a stylist, colored my hair and contuined working thru all 3 pregnancy's including now with my 4th. Its fine just sometimes the change in hormones will affect your hair and its outcome, highlights may take longer to process or perms won't take etc. Definitely no harm to baby

I refuse to dye my hair when I am pregnant. Who knows what the chemicals could do. They have never done studies on this and lets face it, the chemicals on your scalp ARE going to be absorbed through your skin. Just my opinion.

As long as it's well ventilated,  you will be fine. I dye my hair all through pregnancy.  I have too...too much grey lol.
