39 weeks 5cm 80% effaced and was sent back home!

Why was I sent back home when I'm in pain, and halfway dilated to 10cm? I'm due in 8 more days but I'm so confused as to why they'd send me back home.

Thank you. I've been walking all week, I had sex, been on my yoga ball, and trying to relax in between. I'm due in 3 more days and I'm hoping she comes on time.

That is why they sent you home maybe. You have to have regular contractions to be in active labour. They would swnd you home and advise to progressbthe lavour ay home and come back to the hospital when in active labour. I personally prefer it too since hospitals are very limited sometimes. I suggest you rest at home, go out for a walk,  go to the mall eat some frozen yogurt and relax. Go back to the hospital once the contractions become regular and close enough. You are almost there. Congratulations.
