Embarrassing Question: Will rough sex cause any harm to my baby?

As of yesterday I'm 23 weeks. I have not been sexually active throughout my pregnancy until last night. The father of my baby and I had sex and he performed as if I wasn't pregnant (rough/hard).

It wasn't too painful but I was cramping a little and my baby was balled up in my belly afterwards. I was so afraid and worried that we probably hurt her or something like that and I just want to know if having rough sex not good while pregnant? Please help and don't laugh lol.

Thank you... I'll talk to him and let him know that he should take it easy on me. I was just really nervous afterwards because my baby was balled up into a knot and I was a lil cramped.

I am 23 weeks and not sexually active but i was wondering the same thing!

It won't  hurt the baby,but maybe you. You are very sensitive down there right now . Tell him to take it easy. The cramping is probably coming from him being rough. Sex is okay during pregnancy, but if he continues to be rough or it's uncomfortable I will avoid it .

I haven't had any bleeding at all...

You should expect to possibly have some bleeding afterwards further on. Rough is ok within reason.
