Nuchal cord problems?

I am 34 weeks &my doctor told me the cord is wrapped around my baby's neck. He didn't seem like it was a big deal &told me not to worry about it but I can't help but be scared something is going to go wrong. Anyone have any positive stories??

My brother was born with the cord wrapped around his neck twice and they didn't know ahead of time. He is perfectly healthy (then and now) and he was born nearly 23 years ago. Try not to worry. They know this is happening so they can be ready when the time comes. Good luck!

Did they find that out with an ultrasound ?

I think it's less of an issue now than it used to be. I had the cord wrapped around my neck and it just equaled a c section. Back on my day (I'm old).
