You'll do great. Ear healthy and take your prenatal vitamins aND it should all be ok. I'm 37 and did you know at 35 the consider it a "geriatric pregnancy "?? That stigma scared me at first. This is my 2nd and all seems well.
@flickan yes that helps. The 20 week scans went well, the doctor wasn't concerned about anything and basically told me the additional testing was pointless unless I would terminate the pregnancy pending the results. I just want to be sure that the baby will be healthy OR know what to expect if something is wrong, ya know? So much to think about as it gets closer and closer to the due date!
How did your 20 week scans go? Many issues such as Downs and other chromosomal issues and birth defects are caught then. What we won't know is if a baby has autism or is somewhere on the spectrum until they're born and grow a bit. I passed on the tests as well knowing the 20 week scan will tell us the same thing.
