38+2 week appointment

so had my appointment today, not much different then normal! hes still 2/5ths engaged, but midwife said anything can happen!!! so im not counting on it haha! BP fine, urine fine, hes measuring fine, everything is FINE! they dont do examinations over here unless your in labour, so no idea im im effaced or dialated which is annoying!
Im feeling rather fed up today, my back is killing me and im just getting no sleep!!
She arranged another appointment for 18th 2days before due date, im hoping i'll see her before when im in labour lol! i really dont want to go overdue but its very likely for first child she said GREAT!

How is everyone? noone hadreally posted for a while.

I'm fed up too claire and I only hope you don't have to go past your date, it's so hard!!  I have trouble with driving now too but have no choice, kids to be taken to school and picked up, shopping to do, house to clean... it never ends when you're a mum!  I did the pineapple for a while but it never did anything and I tried the raspberry leaf tea.  I just think it won't happen if baby isn't ready!  Good luck!

hkenny- im also on raspberry leaf tea!!! i used to love it now i hate it! also eating lots of fresh pinapple, and dreadingly having sex everynight, which i am so not in the mood for!!! but DF seems happy!

Krushing- yep i hear you with the sleep thing! cant sleep, hate going to sleep bacause i cant sleep and end up getting up at like 7am every morning! i must be mad!

Kiki- yeah i know what you mean its defiantly going to be all worth it, and it probably wont take that long if i do go overdue, i still have loads of things to wash and sort out so not too bad! i think im just feeling abit emotional not being able to shave my legs, well just be independant like i used to be really, like driving the car, washing my hair over the bath! oh well not long!

Claire ~ it's SOO worth the wait! I know it stinks, but it's almost over!

Ladies I hate to break it to you but the sleep thing only gets worse! LOL Addy is a great sleeper about 4-5 hrs strait each night, but your still gonna be such a nervous wreck you'll check on them at least twice during those few hours!

On the bright side, the peeing does stop! LOL

at this point i am drinking raspberry leaf tea like its going out of style, trying to do house work and taking lots of dog walks.  I am due tuesday and hoping and praying she is on her way by  then!

Krushing- i am so there on the sleeping thing, i dont really sleep....at all.I just cant. i cant get comfy and if i do i have to pee and i pee i would say every 1 1/2 hrs so even if i did get to sleep its short lived. I am so tired of PEEING!!

Glad you had a great appointment Claire!  I think those of us still preggers are just hanging in there.  Nothing exciting for us to report...we are miserable, at least I am.  I'm not able to get comfortable to sleep anymore, which is starting to take it's toll on me and now I'm going to have Reece in a matter of days, which will be more of me not sleeping.  But, women have been having babies forever now and they made it through it I know I will too.  I'm getting really nervous...I check in Sunday evening to start my induction.  I hope Alister doesn't overstay his welcome and comes on for you, at least by your due date.
