Measuring 3 Weeks Ahead of Schedule

Hey Ladies,

I got back from my Measurement u/s and Noah is measuring 3 weeks ahead of schedule at 3 lbs. 9 ozs at 28 weeks 3 days. Everything looked good I had alot of amniotic fluid, he is head down for now and has a head of hair. I go back on April 15th to see how big he is then, I'm hoping not much bigger than what he already is. lol I guess we are looking at a May baby for sure.

LOL, he's my "chunky monkey"!  OB predicts around 8lbs, I'm still scared though.  But, after 2 losses, I don't really care how big he is as long as he is healthy!  His size doesn't scare me except for the part about may have a c-section...but I can get through it!

Yeah, I've been taking insulin 3 times a day for GD. I was definitely surprised when they said he was measuring at 31 weeks instead of 28 weeks 3 days. lol I am really hoping his lungs are going to be where they need to be when he gets here. I was hoping to have another vaginal delivery but it looks like I might have to have the c-section if he gets over 8 lbs. I see my OB next Friday so I think she will tell me what she is thinking we should do about delivery. I noticed Reece's weight from one of your posts and it made me feel more normal. lol

Yeah, I was just wondering that about the GD and high fluid.  I don't have GD and fluid is normal...we just have a chunky Reece!  

Fawngonzalez, have you been tested?

Let's just hope his lungs are growing as fast as his body! High fluid is a huge indicator of GD. That's why he is a whopper! LOL

I went for an u/s at 28w5d and Reece was measuring 3.6lbs.  So, our little ones aren't that much different weight wise, but my due date is May 23, but measuring around May 12, but OB won't move up due date unless Reece is just a whopper and we need to induce.  I go back to the doctor Monday.

oh, wow, that's great!  I wish I could have another sonogram!!  I want to see my little guy so bad, but I guess I'll just have to wait.

The first due date was June 7th but my OB warned me if he got big really quickly she definitely wants to do a c-section, I see her next Friday so I'll have a better idea of what she is planning on doing. Like you said though he looked good and everything was functioning the way it should so hopefully it won't be too big of an issue.

well I can see how that is concerning but I say as long as he is healthy!!  What was your due date before? do they think he will be early?
