Hello May Mommies! Just checking in on all of you to see what's new???
As for me, I'm in that stage where I'm not really sick, but have no appetite. If I didn't know any better, I'd think I wasn't pregnant. Just waiting for a few more weeks so I can feel the baby and be assured everything is okay.

I lost about 3 pounds the first 2 and half months. since then i have gained it back! i think as long as you are eating well ( which can be hard when your are throwing up) its ok to lose. If you are showing i wouldnt worry about a thing!!
I'm not really sick anymore either, but I've been sick with a cold for the past week and I'm of course unable to take much for it. Has anyone exeperienced any weight loss since becoming pregnant? I've lost five pounds in these first three months and I thought the rule was to gain five in the first three?
And I'm showing a little...to the point where I can't zip and button my jeans, so I bought some Belly Bands to put over them so I don't have to buy new maternity clothes yet!

thats crazy they should have def given you one then. let us know how the next visit goes. how far along r u now.
tarrah- i havent had a pap in like 3 years, and she never asked me if i had. i guess i will just see how next time goes.
like krushing said about your pap more than likely you didn't need one yet, i didn't get a pap either bc i was told i wasnt due for one til jan congrants on hearing babies hb mine is at 155 as well :)
I'm glad you got to hear your little bean's hearbeat, but sorry you felt rushed with the doctor. Maybe as far as the pap, you weren't due for one yet. They did mine because I was due for another one. I don't really know about that. I'm sure they will get your sooner or later. Hopefully next time you will have just the doc and you can just spend one on one time with her and ask all of your questions. But, if there is something you need to know, don't hesitate to contact her office and ask her nurse. That's what they are there for.

the appointment was ok, they check blood pressure and weight (yuck!) and sent me with a bunch of blood tests to get done. She never did a pap which I thought was a bit odd. She did ask me a bunch of medical questions and how I have been feeling. They are going to get all the blood work and u/s results from the hospital from my accident. I did get to hear the heartbeat!! it was 155.
I couldnt get a good read on the doc, she wasnt in a hurry persay, but b/c she had a studen doc with her I felt like I didnt get to conversate (is that a word?) with her as much as I would have liked, and he did all the prelim questions. I hope next time I just get her!!

Same here just waiting, Things are uneventful (YAY) October flew by for me girls! And it is already going into the 2nd week of Nov. I hope things stay moving this fast for me! :) Is it going quickly for you all?
Hkenny let us knpw how the appointment goes! My first OB appt. was more less just a bunch of high fives, LOL my OB did IUI's for 6 months trying to get mre PG without a RE, he has lots of time invested in this baby as well. LOL

Well, at my OB appt. we did an u/s to date the pregnancy, did blood work, checked weight and blood pressure, then I met with doc and did a pap since I was due and just went over any medical history that had changed and got questions answered. I go back Dec. 3. I assume I will just get weight and blood pressure checked and doppler for the heartbeat. I should get my big gender scan at the end of December. They usually do them around 20 weeks. Good luck tomorrow!
I am feeling better now,since entering the 2nd trimester. I am forsure showing! All my family says I am. I kinda just feel fat!!

aww glad everything is good, i feel the same dont feel pregnant atal!cant wait to really start showing and lookinng forward to the 2nd trimester!!!
