My shower will most likely be in March.  That way I will be within the 90 days that most stores require for returns from my due date.  Also, it'll be far enough away from the birth (hopefully) so that I can get the final few items I need before baby gets here.

i agree with kiki.....they develop thier own personalities wayyyy too quickly...lol

i am not sure what we are gonna do yet, probably just get something cute at a consignment shop or what not....this is #4 so i should be old hat at this....lol

i never really had a theme for the other kids, and since i have to start over i would like to be able to get what i want and be done with it...lol

i will hopefully be finding out what i am having in Jan, i go to doc appt next tues the 16th and they will probably be giving me the appt for the ultrasound then....as i have not heard anything on it yet. I am guessing in about 4 weeks or so...lol  well let me calculate...lol
i am 14 weeks and 4 days right now, and normally it is around 20 weeks for the ultrasound so probably between Jan 12- Jan 23....lol will let you know as soon as i find out...lmao

I had an easy time finding boy stuff that I loved, it was when we found out it was a girl, that possed the problem, we got lucky and found somthing we both loved!

krushing, I would fight for your right, LOL remember they are only "babies" a little while then they get big and choose what they like for themselves, realistically he will probly just use this bedding in the infancy stage, by the time he is one, and developes his personality, you can change his toddler stuff to be more rough and tumble! Take it from me, love the layette while you can, all too soon he will be out of the baby blues, and into the denim!

hahaaha race cars! DP is exactaly the same!he makes out he doesnt care, then when i pick something or i change something he gets mad! luckily he is pritty laid back though so i can probably choose what i like once we know the sex in 26days!!!!
I understand what you mean when you say classy, i think im the saem, i just want things to match and not look tacky, i am abit of a perfectionist though, im not sure if its always practical though, because at the end of the day a little child will be messy and growing up in it!!!
krushing- with the white and blue i think it sounds lovely!but i first went for the neautral plain colours now im going to go for abit of colour as i think i needs to be interesting for the baby :) i nver realised how hard this would be to paint and decorate a room!!!!!

i have been looking at a few crib sets, and i showed dh. he doesnt care to much about the girl ones but i want stuff thats not winnie the pooh. i want it to be classy, when i showed ihm some of the boy ones he was like where are the race cars and sports items?? i was like no way, i want it to be classy. who knew he would even care?? LOL

I had this cute blue dragonfly print picked out, but DH is throwing a fit.  He thinks it should be bold and colorful, not just blue and white.

So, we are back to trying to pick out bedding.

weve changed our mind about the nursery :S DP is abit annoyed as we have bought a few things and not sure if we can take them back!!
ive changed my mid because i feel like a nursery should have more colour then just creams and yellows!!and when we find out the sex i want to go with whatever weve got not unisex as it is our first child!!

I voted for "when I find out the sex", but I actually already know.  I know usually you don't find out until about 20 weeks or so, but I intend on starting the nursery right after my shower!

I am waiting till i find out the sex but no matter what it will be monkies and camo. My husband is in the military and policing.

well since i have 3 other children and we are in a 3 bedroom duplex, we wont really have a nursery but will have the baby in our bedroom until after i heal from the c-section and we can find a 4 bedroom place or larger. And even if it is a girl and can share a room with my older daughter we will still have her in a nursery until she is at least 2-3 yrs old.  And then the nursery will be a toy/play room. anyhow since i am just going into my fourth month, i am not gonna buy any furniture or anything like that yet.  will wait til after taxes to get the big stuff.  anyhow i have some stuff, some unisex clothes and bottles.  will need to pick up a bunch more stuff once we find out what the sex is...lol

claire!! i am so jealous! i was in the uk in september and I loved that store!! i even bought a pregnancy cardigan ( they are waaaaay better over there) and a little baby outfit!

I'm going for another ultrasound next weekend just to confirm the one yesterday...but looking at the pictures, I don't think you can mistake I'm having a boy.  I have a few choices picked out.  But, before I start buying, we've got some rearranging to do with the house.  Our guest bedroom is closest to our room, so we have to empty it, move it to where the computer room is and then move the computer room downstairs into our "in-law's" suite, as most people call it.

i am waiting to find out what kinda baby this is, plus we are in between houses kinda at the moment so i am really hoping we move before baby comes so i can really do it up.i am so excited! nurserys are so cute!!

I waited till I found out the sex, but of course I already had what I wanted either way in mind, Dino's for a boy ladybugs for a girl!

After I found out I did go buy everything, and ordered some accessories off line that are finally in, but now I have to wait till DH does some renovating, we are doing new trim, we put in new windows throughout the house so he still has some window seal stuff to work on! HO...HUM We are also room swapping, we have to move the computer room to an old back bedroom, that needed some drywall work, he's finishing that up today, then we can paint that! Then the computer room will become the nursery, it is the closest room to my bedroom so it works out.

so i think im going to start when we find out the sex, i'll be 21weeks by then, but the room is going to be neutral so it doesnt really matter about the sex either way but im trying not to do things too early!!so roughly feb time!
