question about sleeping.......

Im a back sleeper and find it so hard to fall asleep on my side, to be honest i dont think i ever have! i usually move around at night from side to side and wake up on my back and occasionally on my side.

What do you all think? am i really harming my baby?

i bought a prego pillow too from toysrus and its called a snoogle. its great!! really helps with side sleeping and getting comfy. i think the thing with back sleeping is that you can as long as you arent in pain. if your blood was getting cut off wouldnt you know it? i cant seem to sleep on back but do what works for you!

Well it does slow blood flow to the baby but I don't think it's that serious. I bought a pregnancy boppy, I LOVE IT! it has really helped me, My hubby bought it for me for Christmas, I told him it was the best 50 bucks he ever spent.

NO WAY!  The objection to back sleeping is that you could suppress your vena cava and cut off blood flow, but I can't imagine this is a real risk.  I think it's more one of those things that "could" happen in theory, but basically never does.  I've slept on my back both pregnancies with no complications.
